With over 400 producers working in the Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly appellation areas, there is a multiplicity of personalities and vinegrowing and winemaking choices to suit each temperament: owner-vinegrower-winemaker, broker, traditional, integrated, organic or natural tending techniques and harvesting choices etc. Each with a single aspiration, to craft quality wine that is true to the wealth provided by their terroir.

L’espace des Brouilly
The Espace des Brouilly was created in 1956 as a physical shopfront for Crus Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly. Though it started out with just hand to hand sales, today the Espace des Brouilly also hosts a platform for online shopping. We hope you enjoy your explorations and tastings!
Saint-Lager, a great place to taste our wares!
The Espace des Brouilly has its home in an old vatroom where there remain two remarkable pieces of listed winemakers equipment on display: an 1820 wooden basket press (this was man-powered by a treadwheel reminiscent of a rodent in a wheel, earning it the name squirrel press), and a wooden vat with wooden hoops. When you walk through the door, you will find yourself at the heart of a mural depicting the 6 Terre des Brouilly villages, Notre-Dame du Raisin – Our Lady of the Grape Chapel and the seasons of the vine. Over 50 vinegrower-winemakers have their wines showcased here, alongside regional Beaujolais produce, and a full selection of other things to do and visit in the area. A great place, not only to taste Crus Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly but also as a starting point for all your Terre des Brouilly and Beaujolais adventures!
